I am learning to ask for help (again), be kind to myself (again) and what the rest my body and mind currently need looks and feels like (again), versus what I may have previously needed.

How quickly things can change
Life is unpredictable. I’m sure you’ve felt this at some point. One moment your day is going one way and then things change in an instant.
Arriving back at the start and beginning again
Over the coming months, I’m setting the intention to take more time to create and implement a regular art practice, while beginning to share and sell my work again. My intuition is telling me it’s right next step and like all of the other leaps in life I’ve taken, only time will tell how it all unfolds! For now, I’m hopeful.

As my three children grow up, I see the many layers of policy across governmental departments, ministries on all levels (Federal, Provincial, Municipal) which impact parents’ ability to design a life that works for them and their family.
Coming up for air after one year
Our family of five spent the first few weeks of the year in Dublin and Galway,Β where the kids caught up with cousins, explored outdoors and we largely ignored all school work.

I’m not commuting anywhere, meeting in person at coworking spaces or hosting parent-friendly meetups (yet) but it’s amazing what you can do with an internet connection while babywearing these days.

I’m almost halfway through the fourth trimester and trying to relax as much as I can. We’ve all been home for most of January, everyone is well thanks to help from family and friends and we’re getting used to our new routines.
Season 3 recap, podcasting while pregnant and how I’m preparing for parental leave
This Season has been a bit unique for me, as it’s the first time I’ve been pregnant while podcasting. I’ve spent the entire time planning it, booking in guests, recording interviews, editing, producing and promoting episodes throughout each trimester β I am nearing the final weeks and am preparing to wrap it up for now.
