Life Hack For Getting Stuff Done

Life hack aka how I get shit done on weekdays:
The laundry keeps getting washed and then we stare down the pile until one of us cracks.*

Things I did instead of folding laundry and neatly putting it away this year:

  • wrote and self-published my first book
  • interviewed people and edited it into podcast episodes
  • created multiple digital products
  • joined some woo woo online meetups
  • went outside more
  • hand wrote and posted 40+ snail mail holiday cards
  • typed this life hack post

Got lots done in 2020 thanks to the above tip.

We never ran out of clean clothes, no one saw the wrinkles on Zoom, kids don’t know the difference. More fun, less folding!

Highly recommend 10/10. 👌

*P.S. If you’re wondering who’s winning laundry wars in our home this month it’s me. muahahaha

Let Things Go, Get Others Done

I created a free time blocking Google Sheet template, linked below if you’d like to try it out.

I also made a quick video about the different ways (digital and hard copy) that I try to manage my time…because I’m that passionate about spreading the word to you and others. 🙈

Give yourself a couple of weeks to see if it helps clear the mental fog, structure your days and knock some tasks off your list.

If you’re like me, at the very least you can tell yourself you tried because you downloaded something in an attempt to experiment with a new routine, even if it doesn’t get implemented every day or you half arse it most of the time.

Do what works best for you and your family right now.

Big (virtual) hugs all around.

Stay well everyone,

– Amy (+ Family) xx
