Keep blooming

Thank you to my first child for planting these peonies two years ago.

Thank you to my second child for screaming at the ants as they ate the buds open.

No filter, fully blooming, in all their hot pink glory.

We should all be more peony.

Since birth, throughout the infant, toddler and now school age stage, I’ve been nurturing an appreciation for small business, good coffee, the arts and impromptu on street performances in both our first home (London, England) and our current home (Ottawa, Canada).

As pandemic restrictions evolve from lockdown and stay-at-home orders, to take away, now patios and soon indoor dining, we are still exploring as we are able to.
